Zhou Guohai decided he would create his own model. Inspired by the results, he came up with the idea of designing his own model. Concerned with his mother’s shoulder and back pain, he decided to try a massage chair. The founder, Zhou Guohai, was an entrepreneur who experimented with different industries. As of now, eight laboratories test different characteristics of the chairs, including electrical safety, noise, performance, durability, and environmental impact. The company is the first to have created an industrial massage laboratory where technological innovations can be developed. There are more than 40 patents held by iRest for inventions and utility models, as well as over 300 international trademarks, and its products are exported to more than 100 countries in the world.
